At the beginning of the year 1819, Thomas Gibson set sail from Scotland with the object of founding in Buenos Aires a branch of his father’s firm, John Gibson & Sons. After which he bought many more farms & ranches, of which “Los Yngleses” and 5 others still remain in family hands. Our great-grandfather Thomas had many sons, but only one whom returned to Argentina and distinguished himself receiving the title of baronet by King of England for services done to his country, Sir Herbert Gibson bart., and lived in Argentina since his schooling days at Eton. Today, Thomas Herbert Gibson, Thomas’s great grandson is and Art dealer who lives in London and is seen above at a party chatting with Prince Charles, and another great grandson, Herbert Gibson lives in Argentina and has his own firm as a Land & Estate Agent whom has his Website: www.camposdirectos.com
